This is one marriage that has a lot of controversies surrounding it and still took place yesterday, Saturday 29^th March.

Tchidi Chikere broke up with his wife, Sophia Chikere from a marriage that produced three kids.

Sophia claimed that Nuella was the one who broke her marriage. Nuella on the other hand denied the allegation, insisting that she only hooked up with Tchidi after he broke up with his wife, Sophia.

The heartbreaking part came when Sophia who said their divorce process wasn’t true when all of a sudden she got to learn online that her ex husband was getting married Nuella.

RSUST Year 2 Engineering Student Shot and Killed by Armed Robbers

A year two student in the Department of Engineering at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST) is now feared dead after being shot by armed youths at his apartment at Billie close beside the back gate of the institution.

The incidence took place this morning around 7am. Some students who reside in the compound explained to us that they also lost valuable items in the attack.

One of the students said; “We were inside the room this morning around 4am and me I was sleeping and they woke me up that thieves were outside. So I peeped through the window and I saw them and immediately took my laptop and hid it inside the room somewhere safe. So we came outside and charged the guys. They robed something that is sticky on their body and we tried our best. When they brought our guns, we ran into the room and started shouting, “bring that knife” so that they could be frightened and run away.

Popular Wazobia FM Presenter, Akas Baba Shot and Kidnapped

Wazobia FM Port Harcourt beloved presenter, Akas Baba was kidnapped by gun men this Thursday morning. The wife of the radio broadcaster, Candy Akatakpo confirmed this incidence.
She said her husband was attacked in the early hours of this morning at their Rumuokiri residence by the gunmen.
We gathered that Akas Baba was shot in the process.
However, the Rivers State Police has not confirmed this but an eye witness said that the broadcaster was whisked away in a Mitsubishi SUV car.

APC, Rivers State Government Accuse PDP, GDI, Nyesom Wike in Attack of Two Courts in Rivers State

The Rivers State Government has linked the member representing Ogu-Bolo in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Evans Bipi the Coordinating Minister of Education, Nyesom Wike and those close to the PDP for the attack on Ahoada and Okehi Court.

The Rivers State Commissioner for Information, Ibim Semenitari at a press conference said recent report of violent activities of members of grass-root Development Initiatives (GDI) which is a political platform in support of Nyesom Wike and PDP are reasons to arrive at the conclusion.

“We are not uncertain that Mr. Evans Bipi and his clique including the coordinating minister of education and other persons or those related or close to them, may be connected with these happenings.

Fire Razes Properties Worth Millions of Naira at Old Mile One Market in Port Harcourt

For traders at mile one market make-shift shops, the Christmas season suddenly turned to melancholic season as fire early Tuesday morning burnt down goods and money worth hundreds of millions naira.

The fire razed the entire make shift shops and extended to the railway axis. A story building on 67 Ikwerre road that housed both families and commercial goods of people was also affected.

The fire was said to have started at the early hours of Tuesday 17th and continued until at about 4am when the fire service officials arrived with their vans.

Efforts to quench the fire at first proved abortive as the fire prevented the fire service van from getting close to quench the fire.
