Recounting his challenges, Basket Mouth
revealed that if he wasn’t a comedian, he would have done something else that
could have made him better than who he is today.
“I have gone as far as taking the job of a disc jockey just to survive in the street which is even the more reason why my jokes are street based. I have had to stand from Benin to Lagos in a luxurious bus just to come to Lagos for shows. I thank Ali Baba and 2Baba who use to always support me with the sum of N500,” he said.
Basket Mouth also revealed that he used to sleep on the floor of Julius Agwu’s room in Jos and earned N8000 on their first co-host show in Jos.
