Nkiru Reacts to Allegations of Romance with Imo State Governor

Actress Nkiru Sylvanus has been under attack ever since she was made one of Governor Rochas Okorocha's special adviser.

She was even said to have be warned by the governor's wife to stay off her husband of which she allegedly paid a deaf ear to.

The heat became so much when she was kidnapped some time ago and the office of the governor declared some good sum of money for her ransom.
Nkiru on her part had tried to keep her head up and neglect all the accusations until recently when she voiced out what she thinks about it.
"It is unfortunate that people can say such false stories. I’ve been working for this man even before he decided to contest for the gubernatorial election. During the elections in Imo State I was all over the State. I attended every major campaign event for His Excellency, Governor Okorocha.

"I was there when he declared his interest to aspire for the office of governor in Imo state. Then, people did not talk about my alleged relationship with him. They saw me on T.V they heard me on the Radio, they saw me take part in the Street Rallies, they saw me at the INEC office in Owerri, yet nobody talked about me being in a relationship with him.

‘I did not have sex with Angelo’ - Beverly Osu of BBA

Big Brother Africa, The Chase just ended, but the discussion on the lips of many that watched is the controversial bathing in the tub between South African Angelo and our own Beverly Osu.

Beverly who granted an interview to journalist at the media presentation of the two Nigerian house mates yesterday at Protea Hotel, VI, Lagos, Osu also affirmed that her love relationship with Angelo was real.

She denied having sex with Angelo, saying that what people say was only masterminded by the producers of the reality show.

“I am a blunt person and very real. People that knew me before BBA know that. I don’t pretend to be who I am. If it happens you fall in love, you can’t fake it. I did not have sex with Angelo. I was under at the bath tube, but we never really had sex. Maybe the camera made it look so.

Beverly however apologised to Nigerians if her actions at the reality show embarrassed them.
Melvin, looking splendid in brown Kaftan attire, thanked Nigerians for voting for him and said he would always be a proud ambassador.

According to reports one of the Nollywood actresses, Uchenna Nnanna just got involved in car accident around Lekki area of Lagos.

According to sources, she was driving back home from the airport, where she went to drop her kid sister and the rain that nearly paralysed activities in Lagos this morning caused her tyres to slip and she had a coalition with a car in front of her.

Though she had a minor but few bruises on her body, her Kia car, we learnt, was seriously damaged.

Confirmed! It's Finally Over Between Monalisa Chinda and Lanre Nzeribe

You ought to have seen how in love these two were sometime ago with Monalisa confessing that he is her best friend.
Well, like the saying goes, whatever that has a beginning must surely have an end. So the time has come for the end of the brief affair between Nollywood fair lady and former Glo ambassador, Monalisa Chinda and Lanre Nzeribe.
The speculation about their breakup have been on but I wanted to confirm it first before putting it here.
I gathered that Monalisa called it quits with Lanre because he tried to cheat Monalisa out of a deal they both had together.
And the guy is also said to be threatening to hurt Monalisa if she insists on breaking up with him.

I don't really know what to say. If i say that the act is wicked it will sound like i have become repetitive by using the word every time there is unjustified loss of human life.
All I can say is that it is only God that will judge us all.
You will soon be seeing the picture of a baby that was abandoned inside a drainage along Upper New Market road axis of Onitsha in Anambra State today, Friday 23rd. 
Up until now, no one could say if the baby was already dead or died when s/he was abandoned in the drain.

Many have speculated that all is not well with Nollywood beautiful actress, Ngozi Ezeonu because of her drastic weightloss. Many said she was diabetic, others said other things but the actress has made a comment concerning her weight loss. According to her, she chooses to lose weight and has been on it for the past ten years.

''I am not sick. I have been battling with my weight for ten years and I have finally achieved what I want. I am not sick, it is my choice to loose some weight and I pulled it off. I feel good. Losing weight takes a lot of discipline.''

So there you go, she is not sick and with time, we will get used to her new look. It happened to Genevieve Nnaji and Uche Jumbo when they started losing weight and today, they all look better for it.

How I am saddened by this news. If you have watched the very popular Prison Break series that made waves some years ago, then you will understand why I am sad. This guy was the darling of that movie. You see him behaving like he is a baby but full of potentials and surprises.
It really makes me sad to announce this but he has admitted that he is gay.
Well, you can call me whatever you want to call me, but my stand on gay and homosexuality is not negotiable. It is evil full stop.

Don't you just love the simplicity of this icon of a lady. Well, blame me for praising her and if you say I am baised in this report, then i agree. I just love her.
Anyway back to the issue on ground. the picture above is that of Nollywood super star actress eating one of my favourite dish, Abacha a.k.a. African salad.
The dish is a common delicacy of the south easterners. It is made from cassava and cut with a hand made metal that shreds it the cassava into noodles and afterwards washed time and time again to get ride of as much starch as possible and then spread on a local mat and left under the sun to dry up.
Now enough of the details, i did not come here to teach you how to prepare it nah....

Aluu 4 Killing: 12 Suspects yet to be Granted Bail

A state high court sitting in Port Harcourt has adjoined to 7^th of October for ruling on admissibility of evidence on bail application for twelve suspects in the killing of four students of the University of Port Harcourt.

The prosecution council, Rufus Godwin objected to bail applications made by counsel to the twelve accused persons.

Mr Godwin maintained that the ninth accused person who is the traditional ruler of Umukiri community in Aluu where the crime was said to have been committed would influence the trial owing to the fact that most witnesses in the area are residents within his jurisdiction.

“It will take an average worker 667 years to be at the same salary level with a lawmaker in Nigeria”- NLC :Threatens to embark on Strike

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has threatened to embark on another strike against what it termed “the outrageous annual basic salaries” of the law makers in Nigeria.

The union described the basic salaries of the law makers as injurious to the economy, unfair, insensitive and unsustainable.

The Vice President of the NLC, Comrade Issa Aramu who spoke at a ceremony in Ilorin, the Kwara State Capital, said it would take an average worker 667 years to be at the same salary level with the lawmaker whose total emolument per annum was put at about N46 million.
