Sadly, Celine Dion's Husband Dies at 73

World renowned and powerful vocalist, Celine Dion lost her husband today Thursday 14th January, 2016, to the cold hands of throat cancer that they have fought for over 17 years.

Her late husband, Rene Angelil, died at the age of 73 in the early hours of today.
He was diagnosed with throat cancer in 1998.
Rene really fought with his wife always by his side and sometimes even cancelling her shows or performing close to home just to be by his side.

Although Celine was quite hopeful that Rene would one day overcome the dreaded disease, she, however, made all necessary arrangement to make sure he passed on in peace and in the midst of his loved ones.

He is survived by Celine and their14-year-old and 5-year-old twins. He also has 3 other children from a previous marriage.
