There had been rumours that Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Funmilayo Olayinka, had passed on because of her absence from several state functions and other functions, but Sahara reporters has reported that she isn’t dead but sick with Cancer of the Breast.

“Her Excellency, the deputy governor, is suffering from cancer,” sahara reporters source said. “We’re all praying to God to heal her and make it possible for her to return fully to serving the state.”

The source disclosed that Mrs. Olayinka was receiving treatment at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos, but has been to another hospital. Another said she was in her home recuperating.
They also could not say at what stage the cancer was. The government of the state as gathered is supporting her family in every possible way.
Meanwhile, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party had criticized the Fayemi administration for concealing information about the deputy governor’s health condition from the people of the state. “Governor Fayemi and his group raised their voices in protest when (former President), Yar’Adua was flown to Saudi Arabia for treatment without Nigerians receiving information or updates about his condition. Today, the same Fayemi is behaving like the cabal that surrounded Yar’Adua,” said the source.
He added, “Mrs. Olayinka is a public official. If she is too sick to attend to her official duties, then the good people of Ekiti State deserve to be told.”

Amaechi, Orubebe Mend Fences…As Jonathan Approves Council on the Niger Delta

Orubebe and Amaechi

By Chinedu Uchegbu

The perceived rift between the Niger Delta Affairs Minister, Godsday Orubebe and Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi may have ended.
Orubebe has sought Amechi’s cooperation in the development of Niger Delta, through what he called the ‘Niger Delta Action Plan.’

The minister spoke last week when he visited the governor at the Government House, Port Harcourt. He said over 80% of the nation’s resources income is from the Niger Delta, and that there is need to fast track development to improve the standard of living.
“We were in Cross River, Akwa Ibom and Imo states before coming to Rivers. And as I go round, I understand the feelings of the governors and their people.

So, our visit today is to hand over the Niger Delta Action Plan to you and to appeal that you work together with us as a team to do those things that should be done for our people.
You have been in government for some time, and so you have gotten some experience to add value to our thoughts and processes, so that collectively we can move forward,” Orubebe said.

Wow! Dbanj and Don Jazzy Reconciled for Good by Oba of Lagos

Don Jazzy, Oba and Dbanj
The long awaited reconciliation of all time between the two entertainment mogul, Dbanj and Don Jazzy was finally made possible today at the Palace of Oba of Lagos, HRH Rilwan Akiolu, who I was reliably informed have cemented their relationship once again.
And no, this is no April fools day gimmick, because as you are reading this, they are said to have already headed to the studio to surprise people with a hot track to announce their reconciliation.

The Oba was so concerned about the business relationship between the two, and while Don Jazzy was pointing accusing fingers at Dbanj, the Oba dismissed it and insisted that they must renew their once strong and unbreakable relationship.

It was said also that they are working on plans to revive Mo’hits Entertainment.
Would it not be nice to once more have them work together? I can't wait

RSG To Embark On Rural And Urban Water Scheme To Provide Portable Water For The State

Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, Prof. Nimi Briggs, Odein Ajumogobia and Commissioner for Water Resources Patricia Simon-Hart at the Rivers State water sector Development Conference in Port Harcourt
Improved availability of water supply in the Rivers State would soon be a thing of the past according to the state governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.

He said so during the inauguration of members of Water Sector Co-ordination Committee of Rivers State Water Sector Development Conference with the theme: “Improving Service Delivery through Better Cooperation”, in Port Harcourt, recently where he spoke on his administration’s current efforts to provide clean, potable water for the people of the state.

Amaechi said his administration has embarked on rural and urban water scheme will provide potable water, while stressing that clean and sustainable water is essential for the well-being of the people.

“We need to take water to the people, you and I who are in government, we hold this money in trust for the people, we make decisions on behalf of the people and one of the decisions they expect us to make is to give them clean, potable water,” Amaechi said.

A Good Fashion Sense?

I don't think so, because no one would be comfortable with more than half of their breasts popping out.
