Two Nigerian Former Governors Lose Son, Daughter on Friday and Saturday

Two tragic events happened to former military administrator of Kano and Benue States, Brigadier General Dominic Oneya, and former Bayelsa State Governor, Diepreye Alamaseigha. Both lost a daughter and a son on Friday October 10, and Saturday October 11, respectively.
The detail of the death of Alamaseigha’s son (Omo Alamaseigha) is yet to be gotten, but sources has it that he was found dead in his hotel room in Dubai on Saturday. His dad has since left for Dubai to handle the burial arrangement.

Meanwhile, as if that was not enough, the daughter of Brigadier General Oneya, (Frances Oneya), has died from injuries sustained from gunshots from armed robbers who trailed her from the bank and left her with several gunshots.

Late Frances, a mother of four was said to have gone to a bank (name withheld) to make some withdrawals on Friday at about 10:40am along Ovie Palace road, Effurun by KW junction, but sadly met her killers who not only shot at her, but took the money she withdrew.
