Rivers Legislator, Golden Chioma Kidnapped

The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of one of the members of the state’s House of Assembly, Hon. Golden Chioma by yet to be identified gunmen. 

The Command’s spokesman, Mohammed Ahmad, stated that Golden was kidnapped in Diobu, Port Harcourt around 8 pm on Tuesday.
He also disclosed that investigations have started on the matter.

He said: “Yes it is true that the honourable member representing one of the constituencies in the Rivers State Chamber, Hon. Chioma Golden, was kidnapped and we have received the report of his kidnap.
“We have put in place all the mechanism available at our disposal to ensure that we rescue him safely”, he said.

Kefee to be Buried Next Week Friday

The Branama Queen- Irikefe Obareki Don Momoh who passed-on on 13th June, 2014 is to be buried next Friday, 11th July in her home town in Delta State.
The husband, Don Momoh is okay with the request by her family to bury her in Okpara-Inland, Ethiope East LGA of Delta State.


In a statement released by her publicist today, it states that Kefee’s husband, Teddy Don-Momoh, who has been making arrangements to bring her body back from the U.S., will arrive the country first to receive her body before taking her down to Delta State for burial.

A celebratory service will follow in Sapele afterwards. May her soul rest peace.

‘Kefee Did Not Die with Pregnancy’ Publicist Refutes Speculation

It is no longer news that Nigerian’s sensational gospel singer, Kefee Obareki Don Momoh (a.k.a. Branama Queen) has passed on.

What has been making the rounds rapidly is that she was 6 months pregnant and suffered from complications with her pregnancy.

An official statement from her UK publicist reads:

This is great news for fans of Nollywood's actress and producer, Uche Jombo-Rodriguez who is expecting her first baby with her handsome husband, Kenny Rodriguez.

One can't help but wonder why this beautiful, intelligent but controversial lady gets the support of her fans in whatever she did.

Sad Picture of Baby Born with His Heart Outside Still Holding On

This is one of those pictures you see and everything inside of you melts. This baby born to an Indian couple and their first child after four years of marriage has a rare medical case of ectopia cordis.
The mother 24 and her husband, 30 are unfortunately from a poor background with meager earnings that they can't afford to take the poor little boy to a more sophisticated hospital that handles such cases.

This is one marriage that has a lot of controversies surrounding it and still took place yesterday, Saturday 29^th March.

Tchidi Chikere broke up with his wife, Sophia Chikere from a marriage that produced three kids.

Sophia claimed that Nuella was the one who broke her marriage. Nuella on the other hand denied the allegation, insisting that she only hooked up with Tchidi after he broke up with his wife, Sophia.

The heartbreaking part came when Sophia who said their divorce process wasn’t true when all of a sudden she got to learn online that her ex husband was getting married Nuella.

RSUST Year 2 Engineering Student Shot and Killed by Armed Robbers

A year two student in the Department of Engineering at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST) is now feared dead after being shot by armed youths at his apartment at Billie close beside the back gate of the institution.

The incidence took place this morning around 7am. Some students who reside in the compound explained to us that they also lost valuable items in the attack.

One of the students said; “We were inside the room this morning around 4am and me I was sleeping and they woke me up that thieves were outside. So I peeped through the window and I saw them and immediately took my laptop and hid it inside the room somewhere safe. So we came outside and charged the guys. They robed something that is sticky on their body and we tried our best. When they brought our guns, we ran into the room and started shouting, “bring that knife” so that they could be frightened and run away.
