Big shot Nigerian musician, 2face
Idibia got married recently to his heartthrob, Annie Macaulay and all manner of
celebrities were there to grace their day.
But one could not help noticing that
there were some people who ought to have been at the wedding and were not.
Someone like Black Face, one of the
members of the defunct plantashun boys, was not at the wedding. And when he was
asked why he did not attend, he said that he ‘does not go where he was not
invited.’
But the one that strikes the most is
the absence of Kennis Music Record’s Keke and Kenny Ogungbe’s absence.
No one knows what could have
transpired that could have resulted in 2face not inviting the owners of the
music label that took him from the small group he belonged and made him a
household name in Nigeria and beyond.
And just when it seemed like we have
forgotten about some of the things that happened in the wedding and those that
attended and the ones that did not, Kenny Ogungbe has not gotten over it.
Kenny has come out to speak his mind
when he was interviewed by Encomium reporter on his reason for not been present,
he said, “I don't think it is something you should ask me. Go and ask 2face why
Primetime and Kennis Music were not in attendance. I am too old to start
joining issues with people…” he said in his expression of anger.
I hope this is not the beginning of
cold shoulders between the two parties involved.
this is serious indeed. yawa go burst o.
