Sad! Pictures of Late Sokoto State Deputy Governor Son’s Who Died in An Accident Released

The saying that we should live our lives each day as if it were our last applies here.

Imagine 3 friends leaving home and bidding their loves ones farewell to embark on a journey only for one to return.

Sokoto State Deputy Governor’s second son, Luqman Mukthar Shagari, yesterday, Thursday 18th April, with his friend simply identified as Ghadaffi (seated on the passenger’s side) and one other of their friend where returning home to Sokoto from their base in Abuja when all of a sudden, Luqman, who was at the wheel lost control of the vehicle which led to the vehicle tumbling severally and bursting into flames afterwards.

Luqman and his friend on the passenger’s side died instantly but the other of their friend who was at the back survived but not without injuries.

Luqman’s father, Deputy Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Mukthar Shagari, has been devastated ever since.

The sad part is that they were both in their prime with their ages ranging from 28 to 30 years old and with families of their own (wife and at least a child).

The pictures you see above was the 3 of them in the car taken yesterday before embarking on a journey of eternity. The other is Luqman with their friend at the back that survived the accident, the other is that of burnt vehicle and the other is Luqman with his beautiful daughter.

May their souls find rest while we ask God to give their families the fortitude to bear the loss
