Governors of Edo, Imo and Rivers Shun South South, South East Governors Meeting

Three governors, Chibuike Amaechi of Rivers state, Adams Oshomole of Edo state and Rochas Okorocha of Imo state yesterday stayed away from the meeting of the South South, South East governors held in Enugu state.
Incidentally, Governors Oshomole and Rochas Okorocha are supporters of Amaechi in the leadership crisis rocking the Nigeria Governors Forum.

The 8 governors who attended the meeting commended President Goodluck Jonathan for his transformation agenda.
Chairman of the South East Governors Forum and governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi, said the meeting bordered on economic cooperation and seeking a solution to the problem of oil theft.
